Once again, Mission4Maureen is proud to be participating in the Have A Chance Walk in New York City. The walk continues to raise money to bring an end to brain tumors, which affects more than 200,000 people each year. Our goal in this second year is to raise more team dollars than last year’s total and to increase the number of M4M Team walkers.
In 2009, thirty walkers raised over $5,000. This is a wonderful event suitable for the entire family. Enjoy a picturesque walk while raising needed funds for brain tumor research.
The Have A Chance Walk is a non-competitive, family-oriented 5k walk throughout lower Manhattan. Now in its fifth year, the Walk begins and ends in Historic Battery Park at the foot of Manhattan, adjacent to the Statue of Liberty and Staten Island Ferry.
Sunday, October 17, 2010
