This was the second year that Team Mission4Maureen has participated in the Have A Chance Walk to Fight Brain Tumors. The team raised more than $3,000 in support of Have A Chance, which recently merged with VOICES Against Brain Cancer. The 2010 walk on October 17th took place on a beautiful sunny day. Joining the team to walk with us this year were Mission4Maureen recipients and their supporters. Everyone who made the trip received a team blanket and a tee-shirt as a remembrance of the day. The family-oriented, noncompetitive 5K walk began at 10:00 a.m. following the opening ceremony. At the conclusion of the picturesque walk which began and ended in historic Battery Park at the foot of Manhattan, team members enjoyed a very special treat!
